  1. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 7/21/08 at 12:01:00 AM (ET) through 7/27/08 at 11:59:59 PM (ET) (“Promotion Period”) go to http://www.redplum.com/contests/grocery (“Website”) and complete the online entry registration. Then, click “submit’ to complete your registration to enter the $150 Worth of Groceries Giveaway (“Sweepstakes”). In order to enter, you will be required to opt in to the Sponsor’s mailing list. Limit one entry per person for the Promotion Period.

    REFER-A-FRIEND BONUS SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY: You have the option of providing a friend’s/relative’s email address to obtain an additional bonus entry into the Sweepstakes. You may submit up to ten (10) email addresses for up to ten (10) bonus Sweepstakes entries by following the online instructions at the promotion Website. For the valid email address(es) you provide that results in that friend/relative successfully registering and entering the Sweepstakes, you will receive one (1) additional entry into the Sweepstakes for a maximum of ten (10) bonus referral entries per person during the Promotion Period. When you provide Valassis (“Sponsor”) with a friend’s/relative’s email address, the Sponsor may send an email to your friend/relative, inviting him/her to visit the promotion Website to register and enter the Sweepstakes. If he/she chooses to register, he/she will be required to opt in to the Sponsor’s mailing list. You must obtain each friend's/relative's permission to submit his/her information prior to submitting your referral entry. Original entrant's friend/relative will not be entered into the Sweepstakes and you will not receive a bonus entry unless he/she visits http://www.redplum.com/contestsgas and successfully registers and enters the Sweepstakes. A friend’s/relative’s email address may only be referred once during the Sweepstakes.

    In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant, any entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry, provided that person meets all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. “Authorized Account Holder” means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entrants may not participate with multiple e-mail addresses, nor may entrants use any device or artifice to enter multiple times or as multiple entrants. Any entrant who attempts to enter with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or uses any other device or artifice to enter multiple times will be disqualified from participation in the Sweepstakes and all entries submitted by that entrant will be void. Valassis (“Sponsor”) is not responsible for any change to email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of entrants.

  2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 13 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Valassis, its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
  3. RANDOM DRAWING: Two (2) Entry winners will be randomly drawn on or about 8/4/08 from among all valid entries received by Sponsor or its designee, the judges in this Sweepstakes, whose decisions are final and binding. Winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email at Sponsor’s discretion. Limit one (1) Entry prize per person for the Promotion Period.
  4. PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV'S)/ODDS: One (1) Grand Prize – A MasterCard Gift Card (ARV $150.00 ea.). Total ARV of all prizes – max. $150.00. Odds of winning depend on total number of eligible entries received for each prize category. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes on prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winners.
  5. 5. Free Sample Sponsored by McCormick™- The first 10,000 entries received will be awarded a free sample of McCormick™ Montreal Steak Seasoning. By checking the box and requesting a free sample of McCormick™ Montreal Steak Seasoning you are also agreeing to allow RedPlum to supply McCormick™ with your address to receive the free sample. We will not share other personal information as stated in our privacy policy and you will not be added to any additional mailing list due to this entry.
  6. GENERAL: Potential Grand Prize winners must execute and return a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and, where permitted by law, Publicity Release within ten (10) days after the first notification attempt. Non-compliance with Official Rules may result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate winner may be selected. If prize notification or prize delivery is returned as non-deliverable, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. No substitutions or transfer of prize is permitted. By participating, entrants and winner release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation, their advertising/promotional agencies from any and all liability, injury, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes, or the awarding, receipt, possession, use or misuse of any prize and/or with respect to participation in any prize related activity. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing, offering or announcement of prizes. Winners acknowledge that neither Sponsor nor its agents have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on a prize, if any, are subject to the manufacturers’ terms therefore and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
  7. INTERNET: Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated or illegible entries nor for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. If for any reason the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and to award the prize from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken by Sponsor. . Caution: Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.
  8. CONFIDENTIALITY: Entry information becomes property of Sponsor and is subject to Sponsor's privacy policy as posted on its website at the following Internet address: http://www.redplum.com/Privacy.aspx.
